Sidney Stevens is an author of fiction and nonfiction with an MA in journalism from the University of Michigan. Her short stories have appeared in several literary journals, including Hedge Apple, Finding the Birds Literary Journal, Viscaria Magazine, OyeDrum, The Centifictionist and The Wild Word.
Her creative nonfiction has been published in Newsweek, New Works Review, Sure Woman, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and an anthology called Nature’s Healing Spirit from Sowing Creek Press. In addition, she’s had hundreds of articles published in magazines, newspapers and online, ranging from Treehugger and Mother Nature Network to Sierra, Womansday.com, Real Woman, and CNN.com. She has also co-authored four books on natural health for Rodale and Basic Health Publications and edited a book of stories called The Ultimate Teacher for HCI books. She lives in a small town in southeastern Pennsylvania.
